How to Submit a Manifest to our Atlantic City Casino Partners


Context & Why we’re doing this:


One of the main issues we've had with our casino partners so far that hasn't been reported up the chain to the team has been fraud.  People take OurBus in part, because they receive an incentive from the casinos to go there.  We've had several reports during our first two weeks of parents attempting to get a bonus for their kids and multiple people going to more than one casino to redeem their package.  We've been using a coupon system, but that has largely failed.

 

After speaking with the casinos over the past few days, the best way to resolve is to send a passenger manifest for every OurBus-operated trip.  This would not be in effect for any service OurBus cross-sells on behalf of another carrier (we will only send manifests for the trips listed below).

 

 

Here’s the process:

  1. For every trip scheduled to operate to Atlantic City, once the bus has left NYC (or other future location), 30 minutes after departure, please pull the full manifest for that trip and scrub any emails/phone numbers, etc.

  2. Match the OurBus Trip ID number with the Casino schedule number in the list below

  3. Prepare the document listed under “Sample Report Attachment” and answer all pertinent prompts for information

  4. For each trip, send the manifest to the individuals listed below 

  5. In the email body, state which trip the manifest is for - there are two identifiers - A. the time and departure location (7:30 NY-AC) & B. the casino schedule number 

  6. We send the email with attachment to the stated individuals

How to Get Departure Time & Route for Manifest Report

  • In the schedule information below, copy and paste the first bullet, which should have the exact departure time and location for that schedule

 

How to Get Total Passengers Reserved for Manifest Report

  • In Trip Details, using the trip schedule tab, you can get the total number of occupied seats or in the Full Schedule page, you can see the total number of passengers for each schedule once it departs and copy and paste that number into the report.

 

How to Get Bus Number, Driver Name & Carrier for Manifest Report 

  • The day prior to departure, the bus company scheduled to operate the trip will provide driver name, driver phone number & bus number assignment

  • This information should be found in the Transport Company tab of Trip Details

 

How to Get Expected Arrival Time for Manifest Report

  • In Trip Details, using the trip schedule tab, copy and paste the first drop off time for Atlantic City, NJ into the report

*important note - if you do not receive the DC Trails passenger manifest for Atlantic City by 12pm Noon, please contact Avi from DC Trails at [email protected] to get their passenger list to be included on the Atlantic City manifest.  If he does not send by 12:30pm, send the manifest with a note saying, list is incomplete, notify OurBus if they have a passenger not on the list for verification.
